Lindsay and Ryan - Custom Boarding Pass Save the Dates

Lindsay saw Shelley & Amos' invitations and loved the colors and graphics. She wanted to do something similar for her Save the Dates to announce her upcoming wedding in Los Cabos at the Cabo Surf Hotel.

For her fun custom boarding pass invitations we used a bright white glossy stock to print the passes, then placed them in a metallic black sleeve with a metallic fuschia and mother-of-pearl bellyband. The invitation was mailed in a matching metallic fuschia envelope.

Monica & Andrew - Dreams Los Cabos Boarding Pass Invitations

There will always be a special place in my heart for the girls that get married at Dreams Cabo. That's where I got married! So needless to say, I loved designing Monica's boarding pass invitations. Her bright color scheme, starfish theme, and colorful envelopes made for a really fun invitation set!

For Monica's invitations, we printed on a bright white glossy stock and placed them in an orange sleeve. Her mailing envelopes were bright green, her custom printed RSVP envelopes bright yellow, and the invitation was finished off with a bellyband of printed vellum over a bright blue bellyband.

Angela & Brandon - Custom Boarding Pass Invitations for a Las Vegas Wedding

Angela's invitation design focused on an elegant floral design. She wanted her guests to see that hers would be no ordinary vegas wedding! This 3-page custom boarding pass invitation included a timeline/itinerary and an RSVP card.

Angie's Custom Boarding Pass Design

Occasionally I'll take on a design-only project where I do the design and the customer handles his or her own printing and assembling. I don't take on many of these projects since my favorite part is seeing the whole project come together, but if it's something you're interested in feel free to ask if I have any design spots available!

Angie's boarding passes were for her AHR (At Home Reception) after her Breezes Bahamas destination wedding. I had done a monogram for her wedding a few months ago and we incorporated the same blue, chocolate, and gold colors.

Jess & Chris - Custom Boarding Pass Invitations for Cozumel Mexico

Jess' invitations featured a navy linen sleeve, a layered printed bellyband, kraft paper bellyband and envelopes, and were printed on a smooth white paper with an all-over distressed design. The overall look was slightly vintage, slightly whimsical, but totally gorgeous! I love her red and yellow floral design and the navy blue pulled it all together.

Melissa & Jose - Boarding Pass Invitations

Melissa's design was really fun. She had a great color scheme of turquoise and green with touches of chocolate. We went with custom boarding pass invitations in a modern design using blocks of color and polka dots to set the tone for her Fort Lauderdale wedding. She's getting married on a yacht! Love it!

Joy & Derrick - Programs, Table Numbers, and Menus

You may remember seeing Joy's Save The Date Boarding Passes and gorgeous Pocketfold Invitations. I just finished her Programs, Table Numbers, and Menus for her wedding. We wanted to do something a little different for her programs and carry her whimsical yet elegant design from her invitations into her wedding. We came up with these booklet programs and matching menus using the same graphics as her invites. She also wanted to incorporate some of the starfish elements of her Save-The-Dates so we used them on her table numbers. I love the overall look and I can't wait to see pictures of Joy's wedding!

Stephanie & Austin - Boarding Pass Invitations

Stephanie came to me looking for a custom boarding pass design for her destination wedding at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun in the Riviera Maya. We used a combination of modern and classic design elements to create her beautiful chocolate, turquoise and lime invitations. I loved the floral swirl design combined with the polka dots. Her custom printed bellyband and printed RSVP envelopes completed the overall package.

Emily & Darren - Boarding Pass Invitations

Emily wanted some custom boarding pass invitations with a whimsical yet elegant feel. We used greens and blues with accents of brown to create a gorgeous Save The Date invitation for her destination wedding at Dreams Resort in Cancun, Mexico. These are definitely some of my favorite boarding pass invitations that I've done. We finished off the design with a chocolate metallic sleeve embellished with a bellyband of raffia and a mother of pearl shell. Simply gorgeous!

Leslie's invitations are full of color and tropical influences. She has a gorgeous color scheme of purple, fucshia, and orange. We incorporated starfish and floral elements to create her custom boarding pass invitations for her Jamaican destination wedding. Her invitations included two pages of information, were enclosed in a dark plum metallic sleeve and had optional chocolate metallic envelopes.

Karen & Daniel - Boarding Pass Invitations

Aren't these boarding pass invitations fun? I love Karen's bright colors and vibrant designt. She wanted tropical and bright colors. I think we did it! These four-page boarding passes had a main invite page, 2 informational pages, and an RSVP page. Then, we did custom-printed RSVP envelopes, placed it all in a vibrant ocean blue sleeve, embellished the invite with a mother-of-pearl shell and tucked it all in a gorgeous yellow envelope. I'm sure if I got this invitation in the mail I'd be so excited about that destination wedding!

Jaime & James - Boarding Pass Invitations

Jaime's invitations included printed RSVP envelopes and a matching bellyband. I love when I get to design the whole package- it really makes the invitation stand out and shows your guests that you're the bride that thinks of every detail!

Lonna & Matthew - Boarding Pass Invitations

Lonna came to me with a very specific design in mind. She wanted a particular layout that was a more "traditional" boarding pass look, and different than what I typically do. I love getting to try new things! Her fuschia and black invitations set the perfect tone for her destination wedding.

Nicole & Brent - Boarding Pass Invitations

I do lots of these starfish boarding passes, but I love Nicole's simply because of how bright and happy they are. We finished the project off with a colorful metallic bellyband and mother of pearl shell. These are gorgeous in person- the metallic pink is so fun!

Shawna's Itinerary - Boarding Pass Invitations

Every once in a while I get to do something a little different, and Shawna's project was one of those. She wanted the traditional boarding pass design, but used it as an itinerary for her guests' welcome bags, rather than the invitations. Great idea!

Some Custom Ideas

Some people want just a standard invitation- and that's great! You know what? Your guests have probably never even heard of a boarding pass invitation, and probably the most simple design with no embellishment would still be seen as creative and exciting. But some of my clients want a little "extra". For these clients, the plain white envelopes just won't do! Now, embellishment can be as simple as a printed bellyband (as seen on the Kathi & Ryan boarding pass invitations, and the Danielle & Ashley boarding invitations below) or as elaborate as a shell bellyband with coordinating RSVP and mailing envelopes.

Here are a couple of my current favorite "embellished" invitations...

LISA & MAX
I did these boarding passes a long time ago, but they are still some of my favorites. Lisa had a great sunset color scheme. I LOVE the vibrant red, orange, and yellow in her design. We used a metallic orange sleeve, with translucent vibrant external mailing & RSVP envelopes. The colored RSVP envelopes make a lovely contrast with the orange sleeves and white glossy paper. The finishing touch was a raffia and mother-of-pearl bellyband and the whole set was tucked in another translucent yellow envelope.

REI & JONATHAN
Every once in a while, I don't design with the bride, I design with the groom. Jonathan was one of those grooms (and I should say that Rei is a lucky bride!). Jonathan had a very clear idea of what he wanted and his vision of incorporating an oriental feel with an earthy, elegant design was perfect. His color scheme of natural greens, golds, tans and touches of pink was the perfect introduction for his guests to their Hawaii wedding ceremony to come. The simple raffia bellyband also fit the natural theme of these invitations and the moss envelopes are some of my favorites I've used so far.
