Jessica & Brian - Passport Invitations

I just finished a great set of Passport Invitations for Brian & Jessica. They're planning a destination wedding at the Barcelo Maya Palace in the Riviera Maya. Instead of using these like regular formal invitations, these passports were created to be informational for the guests that already were planning to attend.

There are so many options with Passport invitations, and they can be created with 2, 6, or 10 pages. They can be Save-the-Date invitations with just 2 pages in a booklet style or the traditional Passport invitation with 10 pages to give your guests the total rundown on all your wedding details.

Stephanie & Austin - Boarding Pass Invitations

Stephanie came to me looking for a custom boarding pass design for her destination wedding at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun in the Riviera Maya. We used a combination of modern and classic design elements to create her beautiful chocolate, turquoise and lime invitations. I loved the floral swirl design combined with the polka dots. Her custom printed bellyband and printed RSVP envelopes completed the overall package.

Angela & Matt's Album

This is the first time I've blogged an album. I don't usually take pictures of them but I decided it was about time to! Angela wanted a flush-mount album of her wedding pictures to give to her husband as a one year anniversary gift. She had a lot of great pictures and her custom photobook album design ended up being nearly 50 pages long! Because I don't often take pictures of these albums, I also took a couple pictures of the spine and construction so you can see how these are made...

Joy & Derrick - Pocketfold Invitations

I do a ton of invitations, and while I usually am pretty happy with the overall result, every once in a while there's an invitation that really stands out as a favorite. Joy's invitations fit that category. I had done her save-the-dates a few months ago, and we did a lot of brainstorming to come up with something that would be whimsical yet elegant, and compliment her classy beach theme. Joy has a great sense of style and also is able to really communicate exactly what she's looking for- both characteristics that make for an awesome client!

We used a metallic chocolate pocketfold, and layered her cream invitation stock over a gorgeous dark citron. Her RSVP & Mailing envelopes are metallic cream and the entire package is presented with a custom monogram and custom-printed bellyband. We carried the same graphics throughout the inserts, monogram, bellyband, and envelopes.

We're currently working on her menus and programs, but here are her invitations... love, love, LOVE them!

Emily & Darren - Boarding Pass Invitations

Emily wanted some custom boarding pass invitations with a whimsical yet elegant feel. We used greens and blues with accents of brown to create a gorgeous Save The Date invitation for her destination wedding at Dreams Resort in Cancun, Mexico. These are definitely some of my favorite boarding pass invitations that I've done. We finished off the design with a chocolate metallic sleeve embellished with a bellyband of raffia and a mother of pearl shell. Simply gorgeous!

Leslie & Patrick - Boarding Pass Invitations

Leslie's invitations are full of color and tropical influences. She has a gorgeous color scheme of purple, fucshia, and orange. We incorporated starfish and floral elements to create her custom boarding pass invitations for her Jamaican destination wedding. Her invitations included two pages of information, were enclosed in a dark plum metallic sleeve and had optional chocolate metallic envelopes.

Danielle & Jaret - Boarding Pass Invitations

Danielle's theme of palm trees, coral & green, made for some gorgeous invitations. Her boarding pass invitations included three pages of information including an RSVP page with custom printed RSVP envelopes. These invitations really set the tone for her destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico!

Karen & Daniel - Boarding Pass Invitations

Aren't these boarding pass invitations fun? I love Karen's bright colors and vibrant designt. She wanted tropical and bright colors. I think we did it! These four-page boarding passes had a main invite page, 2 informational pages, and an RSVP page. Then, we did custom-printed RSVP envelopes, placed it all in a vibrant ocean blue sleeve, embellished the invite with a mother-of-pearl shell and tucked it all in a gorgeous yellow envelope. I'm sure if I got this invitation in the mail I'd be so excited about that destination wedding!

Alyssa & Kareem - Tea-Length Invitations, Thank-You Notes

I had the pleasure of working on both Alyssa's announcements and thank you notes. Her fabulous Hawaii wedding definitely called for something special and out of the ordinary.

For her announcements, we used a simple tea-length metallic invitation backing and affixed her printed announcement (complete with teaser pic!) with silver brads. For her thank-yous, we went over the top and did miniature pocketfolds. These are gorgeous in person! I made a custom monogram with Alyssa & Kareem's wedding date and used this as a bellyband for the outside. A simple, printed "Thank you" was the only insert. The metallic white and aqua flowed with the rest of Alyssa's wedding theme and completed the whole look she'd carried throughout.

Congrats Alyssa & Kareem!

Jaime & James - Boarding Pass Invitations

Jaime's invitations included printed RSVP envelopes and a matching bellyband. I love when I get to design the whole package- it really makes the invitation stand out and shows your guests that you're the bride that thinks of every detail!

Lonna & Matthew - Boarding Pass Invitations

Lonna came to me with a very specific design in mind. She wanted a particular layout that was a more "traditional" boarding pass look, and different than what I typically do. I love getting to try new things! Her fuschia and black invitations set the perfect tone for her destination wedding.

Nicole & Brent - Boarding Pass Invitations

I do lots of these starfish boarding passes, but I love Nicole's simply because of how bright and happy they are. We finished the project off with a colorful metallic bellyband and mother of pearl shell. These are gorgeous in person- the metallic pink is so fun!

Shawna's Itinerary - Boarding Pass Invitations

Every once in a while I get to do something a little different, and Shawna's project was one of those. She wanted the traditional boarding pass design, but used it as an itinerary for her guests' welcome bags, rather than the invitations. Great idea!

I'm such a bad blogger!

You know, there just aren't enough hours in the day for all the projects I have going on, much less blogging about them!

But, I'll be updating this blog hopefully within the next couple weeks with a bunch of new designs and projects. Stay tuned!

I loved Rich & Elaine's simple yet elegant boarding pass invitations for their Dreams Los Cabos destination wedding. Rich & Elaine found me through my friend Tammy, the owner of Wright Travel Agency and Best Destination Wedding Forum.

Anna & Jack

This was my first set of billingual invitations! We did one set in English, and one set in Polish for Anna's family. Very cool! Anna provided the text and I just laid out the second set of invitations exactly like the first. We used silver cardstock for the main invitation, layered it over a turquoise metallic cardstock, finished with a bellyband of cardstock and ribbon and also printed her return address on the back flap of her envelopes.

I heart cake!

It's always fun when I see one of my monograms or other projects out doing it's job like it's supposed to. This was one of the more unique uses of a monogram: a shower cake. What a great idea! I've seen these cakes personalized with pictures, etc, but this is the first time I've seen a monogram on a cake- love it Yari!

Monograms

I do sooooo many monograms. Most of them are modified stock monograms from my website, with an occasional custom monogram here and there. There are some that are more popular than others so I probably won't post every single monogram that I do, but I'll try to keep up and post the ones I make on a daily basis.

So, for today...
